My personal health journey

In 2016, on my quest for self-healing, I discovered health coaching as a way to improve my health and it grew into a new mission for my life. On this journey, I addressed my relationship with food and transformed my body. As I learned and implemented, I became keenly aware of how to better accomplish my health improvement goals giving my body proper nutrition and a healthy mindset.

As I implemented these changes, I lost weight and realized that I had an unhealthy relationship with food. I had no idea this was an eating disorder. When I was stressed, I would not feel hungry, so I didn’t eat. It was common for me to go through the day without eating or skipping meals. When I learned how this distorted eating behavior affected my physical body, brain and emotional well-being, I began to adopt new lifestyle habits that improved my overall health.

In my mid-forties, I came across a health coaching program that seemed to come out of nowhere, just when I needed it. It was quite literally heaven sent.

I had gotten to a point in my life where I felt completely discouraged and physically uncomfortable in my own body. I desperately needed to change. There were various circumstances going on in my life that were depleting my energy and joy. I needed to lose weight and regain a range that was more ideal for my body. The thought of having to go out to buy bigger clothes was absolutely depressing. Deep down inside, I felt that there was something within me that needed to be healed. I didn’t know it at the time, but my coaching journey would not only lead me to heal by body physically but emotionally as well.

Not only did I feel amazing physically, I also healed my emotional well-being in the process. I ran my first full marathon at 46, and my body felt strong again. Through doing this work, I gained so much clarity about what truly nourished my soul. I began to practice radical self-love, and self-care, and let go of things that no longer served me.

SOMEONE SEEING IN YOU, THAT WHICH YOU DON’T SEE YOURSELF

Today, I am fortunate enough to do this life-changing work from anywhere in the world including the comfort of my own home. I design my daily schedule to optimize my time working, time spent with clients and most importantly the time spent with my family doing the things we love to do together.

One thing that fuels me is my desire to grow in every aspect of my life, to continue to pursue my highest potential, and to share what I have learned with those who are ready to transform their lives.

I am deeply honored to call this mission my work.
